Ben Taub Newborn ICU Lighting Project

The Neonatology Service moved from Jefferson Davis Hospital located on Allen Parkway into the Ben Taub General Hospital Newborn Intensive Care Unit in June of 1990. Encapsulated Miracles

The HCHD Foundation donated a new van to the Troubleshooting for Health Program. This is the Harris Health System immunization outreach program.  In 2012 Troubleshooting for Health administered 21,364 immunizations free of charge to 7,000 low-income children. Ruth Ransom is celebrating her one-year anniversary with HCHD Foundation in September, and we are thrilled to have her as part of our team.
