The registration fee is $69 which includes access to educational events, continental breakfast, morning coffee break, lunch (catered by Goode BBQ), and continuing education credits for registered nurse participants. Target Audience
The INSPIRE symposium is geared toward nurses working in direct care,
education, leadership, and nursing science roles; physicians; and other interprofessional healthcare partners.
Purpose
To provide an interactive forum for sharing and exchanging information to facilitate the translation of innovative, evidence-based practices inherent to scholarship.
Objectives
Upon completion of this symposium, participants will be able to:
- Identify strategies to facilitate the engagement of professional nurses in a culture of inquiry.
- Explore traditional and cutting edge methods for acquiring, appraising, translating and evaluating evidence.
- Examine innovations, nurse-driven scholarship, and experiential learning that have been successfully translated into practice.
