The Harris County Hospital District Foundation (HCHD Foundation) applauds Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital (LBJ Hospital) for achieving Magnet recognition for nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

The ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® distinguishes healthcare organizations for their nursing excellence programs.  Magnet designation is the acknowledged gold standard for nursing excellence and a measure used by the public when evaluating outstanding healthcare facilities.

The outstanding nurses of LBJ Hospital and the Harris Health System, are one of the many driving forces behind the HCHD Foundation mission.  As we continue to care for our Harris County community through partnership with Harris Health System, we celebrate these moments of recognition for the nurses and doctors who provide exceptional care for the under served.
