In the Harris County Hospital District Foundation (HCHD Foundation) November 8, 2023 board meeting, the Trustees unanimously voted to proudly donate $1 million to the Harris Health System Strategic Fund.
The generous donation will go toward the Harris Health System $2.9 billion facilities plan, which includes rebuilding Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital to make it a level 1 trauma center, building a new tower at Ben Taub Hospital, and creating new community clinics.
Our Mission
The mission of the HCHD Foundation is to enhance the broad healthcare mission of the Harris Health System by soliciting and raising funds for programs, and increasing the community’s awareness of the Harris Health System.
