Harris Health System Nurses Honored as Good Samaritans

Harris Health System Nurses Honored as Good Samaritans

We’re pleased to announce that 15 Harris Health System nurses have been recognized by the Good Samaritan Awards.

Good Samaritan Awards are bestowed upon individuals, groups and organizations that do more than society can expect from them as they endeavor to make the world a better place.

“These nurses are being recognized for demonstrating a passion for their profession and exemplifying excellence in teaching, mentoring, leadership and service,” says Maureen Padilla, senior vice president and chief nurse executive.

The Houston-based foundation has been celebrating and recognizing nurses for 11 years at its annual awards presentations.

All nominations are reviewed and scored by a distinguished selection committee comprised of many clinical leaders in the Texas Medical Center.

Join us in congratulating the honorees.
