Encapsulated Miracles

The HCHD Foundation donated a new van to the Troubleshooting for Health Program. This is the Harris Health System immunization outreach program.  In 2012 Troubleshooting for Health administered 21,364 immunizations free of charge to 7,000 low-income children.

The Harris Health System immunization outreach program concentrates its efforts in critically undeserved areas in Harris County. These vaccines are encapsulated miracles.By reaching out to the most impoverished sectors in Harris County, our staff become nothing short than miracle workers; they make sure low-income, uninsured or under-insured children grow up free of preventable diseases.
