Quentin Mease Achieves Fifth Consecutive CARF Accreditation

A Letter from Harris Health CEO:

It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Program at Harris Health Quentin Mease Hospital was awarded a three-year accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the organization’s highest quality rating for PM&R programs.

To earn this prestigious recognition, Quentin Mease’s Rehabilitation Services team participated in a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of CARF surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, and its outcomes are both measurable and accountable.

The Quentin Mease program was originally accredited in 2003, and this is the fifth consecutive time it has achieved this outstanding recognition for its commitment to quality.

We’re proud to achieve this distinction, which demonstrates to our patients that the quality of care we offer meets or exceeds CARF’s internationally recognized standards.

CARF is an independent, not-for-profit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of persons served. Founded in 1966 (the same year Harris Health was established), CARF provides consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.
