Patient Navigation is an important role here at Harris Health.  And the Susan G. Komen Foundation Houston Affiliate Office has helped establish success for the Mammography and Breast Cancer Care services appointments for another year!  These navigators assist in keeping the patients continuing to meet appointment dates and times with their physicians and cancer treatments leading to healthy outcomes.  Without these roles, down time due to patients not coming to their scheduled appointment and treatment is much higher.
