This year’s event honored not only the H.E.A.R.T. Program Trainee MVPs, but also our very own Chairwoman, Mrs.Kristin Garcia Blomquist, for her commitment to service and advocacy.

“What really makes Kristin special is the heart she brings to everything she does.  Whether she’s leading at work, volunteering with a local non-profit, or showing up for her beautiful family and our community – Kristin leads with compassion, conviction, and integrity.” – Harris County Commissioner Lesly Briones

The H.E.A.R.T. Program is an initiative that empowers adults with developmental disabilities through education, job training, and employment opportunities.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Blomquist and our sincere appreciation to the H.E.A.R.T. Program for their ongoing impact. The HCHD Foundation remains committed to caring for our community through partnership.
