Houston's $25 Million BMX Bike Park

The North Houston Development Corporation presented Houston’s $25 Million Rockstar Energy Bike Park on August 16, 2019. This beautiful 20-acre park, largest complex in America, designed by OJB Landscape Architecture is now officially open to the public. Thank you to Mr. Elvin Franklin, Jr., Chairman of the Board of North Houston Development Corporation for inviting members of the Harris County Hospital District Foundation (HCHD Foundation), Theodore Franklin, Chair and Carolyn Amos, Operations Manager  to such a prestigious, welcoming, and worthy ceremony. It was definitely a great honor to have attended this ribbon cutting ceremony along with the community and a number of officials who were involved in bringing this new beautiful bike park to an appreciative community and to our great city –  Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, North Houston Development Corp Executive Director Sally Bradford, the Houston Sports Authority CEO Janis Burke, Rockstar Vice President Paul Tarney, WCMX President Gretchen Baily, and a number of other supporters.
