The new additions, part of a $70 million project, will be completed in late 2019. Fit and Strong Together Program Gets Patients Moving

11/2/2017 When Robert Flores was told he needed a knee replacement, his doctor told him it would be beneficial to lose weight before the surgery. Robert, determined to get healthy, joined Harris Health System’s Fit and Strong Together Program, also known as FAST, a 12-week program designed to encourage patients to make healthy lifestyle changes. The program is for patients who struggle with their weight and factors that come with it—hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and pain.
