The Texas Med Run is a 10K, 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1K Run for the whole family! Together, we are making a positive impact in the lives of those served by the Harris Health System.  The 18th Annual TexasMedRun raised funds and awareness in support of Harris Health System, Ambulatory Care Services, Peritoneal Dialysis Mobile Health Program.  

It is our goal to raise $100,000.00 to purchase a new state of the art mobile health van to meet the needs of Peritoneal Dialysis patients in the Harris County community.

About the Peritoneal Dialysis Mobile Health Program

The Peritoneal Dialysis Mobile Health Program aim is to transform its current care delivery model to increase healthcare accessibility and improve health outcomes.  Did you know that Mobile health clinics have become common tools for health systems working to reach their otherwise unreachable patient population? This mobile health clinic will travel to medically underserved areas to help connect patients to care when patients would have otherwise gone without care.

The Start/Finish is located on Cambridge Street, just North of South MacGregor Way. The Pre/Post Race festivities will take place in the surface lot located 1115 N MacGregor Way, Houston, TX, United States.

Race Day Parking

Please use the TMC Parking Map below to find a parking garage. Due to the capacity of our Ben Taub Parking Garage only patients, patient visitors, and working staff will be allowed to park in the garage. Beat the parking crowd ride the Metro bus or rail service line.
