The Harris County Hospital District Foundation presents to you the 2nd Capital Campaign: Incredible Outcomes. The goal of the Capital Campaign is to raise $25 million for the 1st floor renovation (construction costs only) of the Ben Taub Hospital’s Level I Ginni and Richard Mithoff Trauma Center (the Trauma Center).
The Trauma Center is one of only two Level I Adult Trauma Centers in Harris County, serving over 80,000 emergency patient visits annually.
The Ginni and Richard Mithoff Trauma Center 1st floor should be updated to reflect the advancement of technologies and to provide the most efficient use of space to care for the most critically injured trauma patients. With undersized trauma rooms and older equipment, the need to modernize and renovate is crucial.
