The Harris County Hospital District Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that raises funds and public support for Harris Health System programs and services that go beyond the narrow scope of tax-assisted care for the uninsured and the underinsured. Through public-private partnerships, the HCHD Foundation leverages public funding for the Harris Health System, which is the community-owned healthcare system for Harris County.
